The lodge is surrounded by many wildlife reserves, be part of nature and participate in our daily early game drives through the Mount Kenya National park, Aberdares national park as well as many other game reserves. Flights can be scheduled through Nanyuki Airstrip to Maasai mara and the Serengeti where you will experience the worldly anticipated Wild-beast migration.

Guests on a safari holiday can enjoy early morning and evening game drives, informative and thrilling walks through Misty Mountain Lodge nature walk, bird watching, fishing boat riding, horse and ostrich riding other many more activities. Aberdare is home to an impressive range of African wildlife due to its diverse variety of habitats. This area boasts a substantial population of Eland, Cheetah, White Rhino, Giraffe, Black Wildebeest, Cape Mountain Zebra, Kudu, Gemsbok, Springbok, Red Hartebeest, as well as a variety of small mammals like Vervet Monkey and Meerkat.
